Where should you park when visiting Dark Hedges?

For the **Dark Hedges**, do **not** try to park beneath the trees on **Bregagh Road**. Official Causeway Coast tourism information states that the Dark Hedges section of Bregagh Road is **pedestrian only / closed to vehicles**.

Visitor parking is available nearby around the **Dark Hedges Estate / Hedges Hotel** area, where charges may apply. From there, walk to the tree-lined road.

This parking arrangement protects the site and avoids vehicles blocking the narrow rural road. It also gives a much better visit: the Dark Hedges is meant to be walked, not driven through.

If your sat-nav tries to route you directly down Bregagh Road, follow the signed visitor-parking approach instead of the navigation instruction.
