Where should you park when visiting Fair Head?

The practical answer

For **Fair Head**, use a recognised walking/climbing car park. The National Trust lists a **Fair Head countryside car park at BT54 6RG**, serving the eastern/Murlough Bay side of the headland.

For the western side of the crag, walkers and climbers also use **Sean's Farm** private parking. That is useful if your route specifically starts from the Ballycastle Descent Gully side.

Fair Head is working farmland and exposed cliff country, not a conventional tourist site with a large tarmac visitor centre. Do not leave the car in field entrances or on the narrow approach roads.

Choose the car park based on the walk you plan to do before you arrive: starting at the wrong end can add a substantial clifftop walk.
