Where should you park when visiting Giant’s Causeway?

The practical answer

For most first-time visitors, use the **National Trust car park at the Giant's Causeway Visitor Centre** and **pre-book the Visitor Experience**. The National Trust states that the main on-site car park is reserved for Visitor Experience ticket holders, National Trust members and eligible local pass holders.

If you are coming specifically to walk the **Causeway Coast Way** rather than use the Visitor Centre, the National Trust provides a separate car park at **Innisfree Farm, 60 Causeway Road**. A parking charge applies through JustPark for non-members.

There is also a **Park & Ride option from Dundarave Car Park in Bushmills** linked to the Giant's Causeway service.

Do not arrive assuming the roadside around the World Heritage Site is overflow parking. Parking is deliberately managed because the site receives very high visitor numbers and the surrounding road is not suitable for unmanaged parking.
