The Discovery Centre has its own **free surface car park**, including Blue Badge bays. This is the most useful base for the reserve because the Centre, café, play area and network of nature trails are all within the same Oxford Island site.

Oxford Island itself has longer seasonal opening hours than the Discovery Centre building, so if you are arriving late in the day, check the current site/vehicle access time rather than assuming the building timetable is the same as the reserve.

Admission to Oxford Island is free. Once parked, leave the car and use the all-access trail network and bird hides on foot.
