Where should you park when visiting Ulster Museum?

The **Ulster Museum does not have a normal on-site visitor car park**.

The museum currently points drivers toward nearby alternatives, including **Queen's Sport / PEC on Stranmillis Embankment**, which is reached through or beside Botanic Gardens, and a **Stranmillis Road** parking option farther away. For disabled visitors, a small number of **Blue Badge spaces are directly outside the museum**.

Do not rely on roadside parking late in the afternoon

The museum warns that **Stranmillis Road becomes an urban clearway from 4.30pm to 6pm on weekdays**. That makes a proper car park a safer choice for a visit that could run into the evening peak.

Because the museum sits inside Botanic Gardens, a short walk through the park is normal. Parking slightly away is usually more practical than trying to find a space immediately outside the museum entrance.
