Agnew Volkswagen Belfast used cars in Belfast

I got my Golf serviced yesterday and was very impressed with the experience. I was seen to promptly in the morning and afternoon. Young Peter explained what would be carried out, messaged me when work was complete, and handed my keys back to a washed and vacuumed car. He was very professional. The young girl at reception offered me coffee both times, and I enjoyed a latte and chocolate before heading home.

On the 17th June, my ID4 didnt complete an Over the Air update which meant the car wouldnt go! I was meant to drive my daughter to the airport that morning. This cost us £20 for a taxi due to the ID4 being unusable. My ID4 was not working for close to 5 hours, it took two road side assistance guys to get it working. VW then got in touch and we booked in the ID4 for 10th August to do the OTA update in the VW garage. I was given a courtesy car, a petrol VW Golf with only petrol for 80 miles left on it. I was told the ID4 would be ready later that day and it would be washed and valeted. 3 days later I got the ID4 back, it was not washed and not valeted. It had been charged to 78% though. It took 3 days as VW were waiting on a technician in HQ replying to a query re the OTA update. I had to put Petrol into the Courtesy car - £15 expense. Therefore I am out of pocket by £35 due to this OTA update failure and VW not supplying a courtesy car with ample petrol in it, plus I was promised a washed and valeted ID4 and didn't receive this. Rebecca in VW Customer care was very responsive and kept me informed of progress. Overall a disappointing experience.

I'm happy to say that my experience with Agnew Volkswagen Belfast during the viewing & purchasing of my new car was super, considering I just dropped in without an appointment & on a Saturday! After a short wait with a coffee I was introduced to Jordan who quickly & methodically went through the 3 cars i was interested in before taking me out to view them. After settling on the car I wanted to purchase, we again quickly, but in no way rushed, got down to the business of form filling & payment. I must say Jordan went over & above when it came to car collection day, as after a phone call on the Monday from me explaining i couldn't collect on the day I'd asked for due to other unexpected commitments, he was able to phone me back, swiftly bringing forward collection day by 4 days as per my new requirement. So overall so far a 5 star experience for me.

Met with Dominic on a Wednesday morning to discuss a used ID 3. Very professional and pleasant experience. He gave me a valuation on my own car and gave a print out of cost, including finance options for the new car. I didn’t feel pressurised and found him easy to deal with. Going away to think things through. But would recommend.

This was the second time we have purchased a used VW from Agnew Belfast . It was because of the excellent customer service in the first instance that we returned again even though we don’t live in NI. Once again we received such personal care and attention from Jonny - making sure all our questions about the vehicle were answered before and after purchase. He was totally genuine and honest ,we were so very impressed with the car, the superb customer service and the whole purchase process . Many thanks.
