Bangor Auto Village LTD used cars in Bangor

Update: I'm afraid I have to revoke my previous positive review as it has since become apparent that nothing about the sale of my old car to this dealership and purchase of the new one was handled properly. The DVLA was never informed of a change of ownership of my old car, so I have been receiving MOT reminders and toll fines as whoever the new owner is merrily drives it around Dublin without paying. I was told that this is normal after a car is sold, which is simply not true. No responsibility was admitted for this other than a vague comment about "not knowing" why they didn't SORN my old car as they usually would. I also am currently in an ongoing process of trying to get the V5 for my new car as again this was mishandled, no fee was sent so the application was rejected, when I tried to rectify by sending the green new keeper slip it was rejected again as apparently it wasn't the most recent one. Just generally really strange how badly this was handled - surely if this is something you do often as a dealership you would know how to do all of this? I basically have been trying for months to sort this all out because it wasn't done properly by the dealership, I was told lies to excuse that and I have yet to receive any apology or acknowledgement of fault, plus I missed out on 3 or 4 months of a tax refund because the DVLA weren't notified when I sold my car. At least now I know intimately how to buy or sell a car privately I guess! It's a pity because I had quite a positive experience at the time but it all went wrong. I've never experienced anything like this when trading my car with any other dealership, so I just don't believe that any of this is normal or common. ------- Recently bought a car from Tony, he was really accommodating, very happy to answer all my questions and made the whole process really easy and smooth. I got a great deal as well with a fantastic car in mint condition. I would definitely recommend checking out this business if you are looking for a quality used car and stress-free experience.

Car sold with 6 month warranty, dealt with Tony Work required on car and phoned the warranty company. No record of warranty on the car Contacted Tony who then said he forgot to do it and has put the remaining 3 months warranty on the car. Rang the warranty company again, no record of it. Tony now not returning my messages. If they are cutting corners here, where else are they cutting corners? My advice.. Shop elsewhere.
