Desmond Motors Car & Van Motor Store used cars in Belfast

We recently got our new cars from Desmond Motors and honestly couldn’t be happier with the experience. Claire was absolutely amazing from start to finish she helped us so much and made everything feel easy and straightforward. She went above and beyond to get everything sorted for us, kept us informed throughout, and made sure we were completely happy with everything before driving away. Her friendly, professional approach really stood out and made the whole process enjoyable. If you’re thinking about getting a new car, I’d highly recommend speaking to Claire at Desmond Motors. Brilliant service and truly appreciated!

An absolute joy! 🤩 Parting with money and making big decisions like changing a car can be daunting for me as a female. In the close to 40 years that I have been driving I have NEVER been made to feel as much at ease. Claire Allison greeted us on the first viewing of the car with professionalism yet a warmth and empathy. Nothing was too much hassle. She gave answers to our questions and went over and above. I am delighted with my new car from Desmond Motors Boucher.. 👌..and would recommend asking for Claire if you are a nervous purchaser like me. All the admin stuff and hassle was sorted by her. She knows her stuff and just delivers in a positive and natural way. Holding her own in a man’s world.. she is an asset to this company and I am so grateful to have made my deal with her. God bless her and her family!

I had a fantastic experience with Claire at Desmond Motors. From the start, she was incredibly personable, outgoing, and genuinely easy to talk to, which made the whole process really enjoyable. She was extremely helpful in understanding exactly what I was looking for. Although the car I initially wanted wasn’t available in Belfast, Claire went above and beyond by checking availability across other branches and suggesting alternative options I hadn’t even considered. Thanks to her knowledge and insight, she ended up finding me the perfect car—something I wouldn’t have thought of myself. Claire was very accommodating throughout. She arranged a test drive, took the time to walk me through finance and insurance options in detail, and made sure I had all the information I needed before making a decision. Her experience really shows—not just in her knowledge of cars, but in how well she understands customers’ needs and provides honest, thoughtful advice. What really stood out was her friendly and outgoing manner, which made the whole experience stress-free and enjoyable. I would highly recommend Claire and Desmond Motors to anyone looking for excellent service!

I wholeheartedly recommend Claire! Buying a car was quick, smooth, and truly pleasant from start to finish. From our very first contact to collecting the car, I felt fully taken care of, yet never once did I feel pressured or overwhelmed, which unfortunately has happened to me in other places. Everything was calm, relaxed, and very comfortable. A special mention goes to Claire’s incredible kindness and thoughtfulness — while we were viewing the car, she looked after our little one so we didn’t have to take him with us, allowing us to focus fully and calmly on choosing the right car. It was such a lovely gesture and meant a lot to us. Claire showed outstanding professionalism, patience, and dedication. She explained everything clearly, answered all our questions, and offered great advice. The car was perfectly prepared, exactly as described, and in excellent condition. The entire process was transparent, honest, and free from any hidden surprises. It was an absolute pleasure to buy a car from someone so reliable and kind. Thank you so much Claire ! ❤️

I recently asked Paul to source me a Kia Proceed and he and Claire found me exactly what I wanted which was under my budget. Both were an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish and I look forward to dealing with Desmond Motors again in the future. I’ve had some negative experiences with used cars in the past, so it’s refreshing to deal with people who care. Paul has been in touch since buying the car to check in and I’m very grateful for that. His attention to detail is second to none. A great experience. Thank you to the excellent team at DM.
