Avoid this place at all costs. In August my father purchased a car here and two weeks afterwards the car started giving trouble. The engine management light came on, it was losing power and the heather stopped working. When I phoned George Logans I was told to bring the car in on the Monday of the following week. When I arrived at the car sales, I was told by the elderly gentleman that the mechanic was off sick and they couldn't look at the car. I had driven 25 miles and thought the least they could have done was tell me about the situation. However I decided to leave the car as I was told there would probably be a mechanic in the following day. I had to order a taxi to get back home. The following day I received a phone call to say the car was ready so I ordered another taxi to take me to Ballyclare. When I arrived the same elderly gentleman handed me the keys and said "there you go". I asked him what the problem had been and he said he didn't know. I asked to speak to the mechanic and when I did he told me that he couldn't find anything wrong with the car. I asked him if he had carried out a diagnosis to find out why the engine light was on and he said "oh well it's out now and I couldn't do anything unless it was on. If it comes on again just try turning the car on and off 3 times and that should reset the computer." I left feeling deeply unhappy and by the time I arrived home the engine management light was on again. I booked the car in with a local mechanic who instantly was able to tell me what was wrong. The DPF filter was clogged and this was due to the fact that the exhaust was completed squashed. To cut a long story short, I had been told nothing but lies at George Logans, and I firmly believe that they hadn't even looked at the car in the first place. I just wish that I had read the reviews before my father purchased a car from these people. They are a very amateur outfit and as long as they get a sale they couldn't care less about aftersales service. Take my advice and go elsewhere.

Went to pick up a car I'd paid for and only then was told one of the keys didn't work. Then the car wouldn't start because the battery was dead. Asked where the service history was to be told it was in the car, it wasn't. Turned out the previous owner hadn't brought it in when she sold the car to George. One lie after another, definitely wouldn't recommend getting a car here.

absolute shambles of a place. Definitely wouldn't recommend by buying a car from here, absolute strokers. Bought my first car from here day dot the car was always jumpy and chugging, took down multiple times over the 6 month warranty period for "the coil pack" to keep on getting replaced was even told at one point "this is what happens when girls drive cars because they always stall cars and that's what makes the car go like this" anyway my 6 month warranty is up now all suddenly it was never the coil pack that needs replaced it needs a new engine and a lot of other work done to it which will cost over £2000 to get fixed. stay clear from this place.

Bought a car once and never again. One key was missing but I was promised by George they would get me a second key. They never did despite numerous calls. Later the car had a fault and I had a warranty with it. However after I left it in for repairs under warranty I was told it was ready for collection, when I went to collect the car I was told by George that the car was taken to be fixed in Belfast and £10 was needed for petrol from me before they would release the key. 🙄 they refused to return the warranty book to me.
