Nice staff and stuff but there taking a very long time to fix my satnav keeps getting delayed
Turned up at 12.15 to have a general look around new cars and ask a few questions. Sales person asked if we were ok and mentioned they were closing at 12.15-12.30. Wasn’t sure of opening hours and we mistakenly thought it was 2pm (Google Maps gave us Meryn Stewart in Belfast as Howard Abraham don’t have them uploaded). Mentioned I bought a Skoda Superb here before and was met with “we are closing shortly… I have been here since 9am” “ Contact us and book an hour in” “It will take 6 months for a new car to be delivered.” At no point did the salesman ask for my details or offer further information. He also mentioned he worked there for 20 odd years and these opening hours were always the same. I have attached the opening hours on the door but the place was locked by 12.25. After zero customer service just going to order the car online.
I was at a nearby tyre depot getting 4 tyres fitted to my 2022 Octavia. Turned out that my locking nut key had been misplaced and the wheels could not be removed. I made the short journey to Howard Abraham, Skoda in Lurgan and explained my situation. Within 10 minutes, 2 members of the service team managed to unlock my wheels at no bother or cost. This was a very positive experience and one that would make me return. Good service from a family business.
No delays in a member of staff being available to discuss our needs. I remember this garage having a lot more models, including VW available, but now it's really only Kia and Skoda. Ian took us for a well arranged test drive and was very knowledgeable. Garages these days don't appear to be able to do any significant discounts these days, but I think that's more down to market conditions at the moment as I've had the same experience in other garages.
We had to take our car in for a service and, as usual, the guys in this place were 100% attentive, and nothing was a bother. Don't think I'd go anywhere else for my car as no matter how many times you call into this garage, the guys are as helpful as the first time.
