I bought a car from Trevor at Johnston Autos a couple of days ago and honestly, the experience couldn’t have been better. The car itself is great (as you’d expect), but the real star here is Trevor. He’s one of those genuinely decent people you rarely come across in the car world. Absolutely none of that stereotypical “car salesman” vibe. No pressure, no nonsense, no pushing extras I didn’t need. I’m from the Republic of Ireland, so I had about a million extra questions about buying from the North, paperwork, logistics, etc. Trevor never once sounded annoyed or impatient. He answered everything clearly, quickly and with zero hassle. Just calm, friendly, and genuinely helpful from start to finish. You never get the feeling that he just wants to sell you a car and get rid of you. It’s the opposite. You feel like he actually cares that you’re happy with what you’re buying. I’d recommend Trevor to anyone, and if you’re coming from the south of Ireland like me, even more so. Totally worth the trip.
