Lowes of Larne used cars in Larne

This is the second car we have bought off lowes of Larne and Kenny & their team go above and beyond. Had a small problem with car we purchased off them in December 2025 which wasn’t covered by the 6 month warranty yet lowes of Larne to their own cost fixed it then a couple of days ago a caliper stuck & we called lowes and nothing was a problem and he sent recovery lorry to collect car. Would highly recommend this company!!

Went down to Lowe's after speaking to a friend that purchased a car from Kenny, great customer service, from start right to recieving my new car, that was fully serviced cam with a good warranty & an AA warranty added in. Thank you to you and your team, I will enjoy this focus ST3. Thanks Glenn

Bought a car for my 17yr old Daughter 6mths ago the car has had a gear box rebuilt and a drop in the coolant which was tested for leakage in the system which none was found but was told a sealant was put in anyway ! Why? So car just passed mot less than 80miles ago a few weeks .My daughter went to stop at a red light and as she went to brake to stop at the lights the car shuttered and failed to stop safely and near caused an accident I contacted a Mechanic who came to the car at the side of the road as she didnt feel safe in the car and the mechanic drove the car and stopped within a few seconds got out and said the car is not safe on inspection at the roadside he checked the brakes and explained there was no way the car could have passed the mot he showed me the brake discs i was in shock he also found front shocks where also leaking and has replaced discs and pads and I have also had shocks and mounts to be replaced I contacted lowes of larne to be told there was only 5 days left on the warranty and they could fit the car for 2 or 3 weeks which is after the warranty and was told by Kenny that the mot centre do not visually inspect the discs or brakes !!! My problem is the fairness and the honesty and the safety I feel I've been robbed and my daughters safety also put at risk personally I will not recommend lowes of larne and shall next be contacting the DVSA to find out why my daughters vehicle was passed with these dangerous and major faults In the time she's owned the car she's had a gearbox rebuilt , brake pads changed , washer jet replaced due to crack , also pressure test on coolant system for leaks with a sealant put in , I've also and paid from another mechanic had discs and pads replaced a rear tail light replaced 2 front seats repaired due to stiching separation from auto trim and now I'm going to pay to have front shocks front springs mounts and drop links done also the rear springs and shocks and rear drums and shoes to give me peace of mind for the safety of my daughter ! Isnt it sad that i have been made to feel this way I don't care what anyone says but this car was for my Daughter and I will protect her with my life like any Father should !!!!!!! STRANGE NO REPLY FROM DEALER ON THIS WHY NO REPLY FROM DEALER STILL I GUESS MONEY IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN THE SAFTEY OF PEOPLE !!!! It was a 14 yr old car advertised with 69000 miles at a cost of £4000 paid without finance, Eventually the dealer has replied maybe because he's been busy! The brakes at the time where unsafe also the shocks had no oil left in them as the pictures dont lie! You can see how bad a shape they where in and Yes I was told the mot do not visually look at the discs or brakes !!! This has nothing to do with not being able to get the vechile checked within the warranty time I also never asked for an additive / stop leak to be added to the car it wasn't for my piece of mind at all and also yes I was told the gear box was reconditioned and new clutch but this was all under the sale of the vechiles AA warranty i honestly have said things the way they are i cant be the only one which has left honest reviews Anyway its in the past ! Just like the brakes

Purchased a ford focus through the rent to buy scheme lows offer. The car was like new, immaculate inside and out. The staff in the office are top class, they can’t do enough to help. I had an issue with the car and they had it in and resolved in no time. Can’t recommend Lows enough Thanks Sabina, Kenny & team
