Bought a Volvo v40 from this guy, the price was very reasonable, gave me 3 months warranty, however he and his mechanic doesn’t know how to fix an issue, moreover the issue only got worse after working on the car few times. Took the car to another mechanic to fix it. Ended up paying from my pocket for the job but it was worth it. The owner of the Pringles garage Keith was very arrogant nothing but a business man, did absolutely nothing but ignoring my calls. Even if you are offered guarantee for 1 year or 10 years, if the man doesn’t know anything about cars, you should think twice as you aren’t buying a toy which you could try fixing and just throw away if you couldn't. Good luck with your searches. (Just spreading awareness about such unethical businesses around us. You can find hundreds of good dealers other than somebody not worthy of trusting with your money and moreover your safety and life itself))

My advice to anyone even considering purchasing a motor car from this company is …..DON’T…… Here’s Why!! Last Thursday 29th July 2022 my husband and I had put our eye on a 161 Toyota Avensis. From the pictures online the car looked spotlessly clean reasonable mileage and was around 2500 cheaper than what we’d previously seen around. My husband made contact with a guy named Keith who had informed him the car was in great condition and was ready to drive away. We had agreed to trade our car with a nice sum of money which we had to borrow from our financial institution which he was also informed about too. The following day Friday the 30th July 2022 we left Cork on a four hour trip to the MonaghanFermanagh border to purchase the car which on our own inspection trust from the dealer we drive away in our new car. We drove it for two days and noticed the underguard was a bit loose so we decided to bring the car to a Toyota dealer for it to be checked. The car wasn’t on the ramp 3 mins when two mechanics asked me how long I’d the car I’d said a couple of days they both looked at each other and said are you aware you’ve just purchased a crashed car. We couldn’t believe it I immediately contacted Pringle cars and Keith tried to play a blinder but this time we weren’t being fooled. It took phone calls to him and threats to have the car assessed by a registered assessor along with a solicitor to eventually get him to return our money and our car. He had the cheek to tell me I’d have to travel back up with his defective car to get my stuff back and I politely asked him to spit the cost of the diesel to which he replied No. Most people at this stage probably wouldn’t have been able to hold there patients but thank god my husband and I did because tonight we can let the whole world what an absolutely disgusting experience we had. To finish off I would also like to warn you that if you do decide to purchase fro him the majority of his cars are uk imports so as I have been told I am making you aware his service history report he may wipe his arse with because of its damaged in the uk and not reported to the insurer then it doesn’t go on the report so please beware car buyers hope this helps someone.

I bought a 2018 Mercedes C-Class from Keith Pringle. It is a beautiful car, in perfect condition. The car passed the NCT this month, I have had no issues with it. Keith was kind enough to pay for the NCT. I will return here when I am looking for my next car.
