SM Autosales used cars in Bangor

Got my car in June 2025. Paid deposit in April 2025 and had little to no contact I tried multiple messages nothing at all was received back. After a long time through phone calls emails and text messages I eventually heard I would be able to collect it. Collected it drove it home and the next day it wouldn’t start. Then they sent a recovery up to me to collect the week after it stopped, didn’t get it back for 4 weeks again I constantly rang and text and was told the owner was on holiday ect. Eventually in June I travelled up to collect the car and when I got back home (1 hour 30 minute drive) the coolant light came on. Long story short the timing belt needed replaced- I was told that it had been, coolant was completely gone and there was a new heater matrix needed all in all it cost me over £1000 to repair. I did receive a £400 compensation a month later after again multiple texts and calls being ignored. Over all I wouldn’t waste my time buying a car here to spend loads to fix it. A year later and the car is Completly done.

I left a query on line, know one contacted me,I then phoned one of the guys..Not the most helpful or interested..I then brought up my car and showed them the condition and advised what car I was interested in. The sales guy said he would phone me back about my trade in and deal…That was two weeks ago, still waiting.Total wasters
