Zero stars if possible. Ford garage that can't fix a Ford, I've taken my Ford Ranger in to this garage for a service, £750 later they tell me I need approx £5k worth of work done. I decide to get repairs done so hand them £5k. 6 trips back and forward to them since and they still can't fix it properly. They have introduced glitches in the software and the vehicle is knocking and squealing far worse than when it went into them. No courtesy cars and no thought how people are meant to get their car fixed and get to work. Couldn’t care less attitude from the service team. What a joke. Avoid at all costs. I’m now going to have to get it fixed by an proper mechanic as I don’t trust this Ford garage anymore and I rely on my vehicle so it needs to be right

I have had 3 cars over 6 years and had been generally happy with the dealership until recently. I am coming to the end of a finance agreement and need to hand the car back. I initially called them 6 weeks prior to my agreement coming to and end and was told to call back 2 weeks before it ends and they would complete the paperwork to arrange returning the car. I have phoned 7 times over the last 4 days and the salesperson dealing with my finance agreement has either been busy or out of the office on one of those days and told to call back when he's in. I have left messages on the days he has been in (Twice daily) and he has not returned any of my calls. I have also filed in the complaints form on their website, but received no follow up on this. When I changed my car 2 years ago, I was also put under a bit of pressure to take a car that I didn't need to and wasn't really happy with. The deal offered wasn't that great either, but that's my fault for caving into the salesmans pressure. I will never use this dealership again and advise anyone else to avoid using them.

Would highly recommend Stephen in the newtonards road dealership put me right at ease after an awful experience at Charles Hurst. The did develop a minor fault a few days after picking it up rang straight away and was booked in for the 1st available appointment to get it resolved. However as mentioned Stephen was 1st class from start to finish

Dealing with trustford has been one of the worst experiences of my life. I bought a used car, kia sportage, 3rd may 2025, picked it up 5th may and it broke down 4 days later. The car was recovered to my house and then when I contacted trustford the next day they got it recovered and brought to them. This was the last time I saw the car for almost 6 months. Their lack of communication is actually laughable, I was having to ring every few weeks for updates, with no reply. I dealth with Colin, who also tried at point to accuse me of lying about calling, but when I was able to tell him he was off and when he was back to work, he realised I was being truthful. By October I actually went to the branch after night duty to ask for an update, and was met with shock from another staff member about the lack of communication and this was escalated to the service manager ashley , who rang me to say he thought I had been kept updated, and I explained I knew nothing about the car and what was actually happening. I finally got the car back in November and had it less than a week before there was a fault with the clutch, which had just been replaced with the other repairs, again over 24 hours for the car to be picked up by trustford with no communication as it was meant to be picked up the same day. They had it a couple of weeks to be repaired before I got it back at the end of November. When I went to pick the car up, colin stated the fault was not theirs but kia for sending a faulty clutch, but this does not equate to the car being off the road for 6 months with no communication. I paid for a 12 month warranty when I purchased the car and asked for this to be extended several times, I was offered a free service and I asked again about extending the warranty and was told they'd look into it. I dont think this was unreasonable to ask for considering the car was off the road 6 months and it breaking down within 4 days was covered under my consumer rights. I am now sitting waiting on a call back as there is a fault with my clutch, again, 6 months after a brand new one was fitted. This is completely and utterly unacceptable for a company like this to deal with customers and sales like this. They have not even acknowledged the stress and financial issues this has caused me paying for the loan, tax and insurance for a car that was off the road for 6 months and the loss of earnings from me not being able to go to work due to the breakdowns. Just to add, dealt with Bronagh today on the phone, have never spoken to someone so dismissive or rude in my life.

A superb hand-over experience. The Ford person (Marie) was completely knowledgable and explained every detail. She was particularly patient with the "tech bits" having to relay it to "dinosaurs". We could not recommend it any higher.
