Where should you park when visiting Peace Bridge Derry?

The practical answer

The Peace Bridge has two very different ends, so the best parking depends on which side of the Foyle you are approaching from.

For the **city-centre / Guildhall end**, use central parking such as **Queens Quay, Strand Road, Quayside or Foyleside** and walk to the bridge at Queens Quay.

For the **Waterside / Ebrington end**, use parking at **Ebrington** or the free parking within **St Columb's Park**. That can be especially convenient if your visit also includes Ebrington Square or St Columb's Park.

The bridge itself is for pedestrians and cyclists; there is no bridge-side vehicle parking on the deck. If you plan to walk across and return, simply choose the side that fits the rest of your itinerary.
