Which walking path leads from the Giant’s Causeway visitor centre down to the stones?
The marked Blue Trail runs from the visitor centre area to the basalt columns.
Local access and parking details
The National Trust describes the Blue Trail as roughly 0.8 miles and generally easy, although it is steep in places. A bus may operate on this route; pedestrians should keep to the path. Wet basalt can be slippery when you reach the shore.
Before you go
Allow time to return uphill, and check the National Trust access information if a member of your party has limited mobility.
