The public entrance is on Portaferry Road, on the A20 heading from Newtownards towards Greyabbey. This is an example where the postcode alone may produce the wrong final approach.
Before you go
Stay on Portaferry Road until you see the signed Mount Stewart entrance rather than turning into a back access road.
