The car I bought from him was immaculately presented and MOTd until October. As I'd brought a credit card with me to make the purchase, he had to ask me to drive to a colleagues house to complete the sale (he can't accept credit cards). The only reason I had to take it to my mechanic was for an oil change due to the amount of miles I’d done since buying it, my mechanic says it’s a great car and is in very good condition for its age.
