Bought my Hyundai ix20 from Pete and I couldn't have asked for more professional service. Responsive, addresses issues quickly, and friendly. Even when the bank gave us hard time transferring the money, he was really patient. Thanks Pete for such an amazing experience.

Purchased Range Rover from PMG. Noted later that the car had been fitted with sidesteps but one was missing and one inoperative. At purchase had assumed it was the car setting. Also discovered that the jack was missing. I was assured that the necessary parts would be sent to me and a repair sourced. And that was the last I heard despite numerous EMails. Not an honest or trustworthy bunch.

Don’t give Pmg (Peter ) £1 if I was you, had paid him a deposit of £4500 paid at 08/08/2025 then to receive the car after the full balance being paid on the 20th a August(paid 20th of August I’m full) and not receiving the car until the 1st of November and paid and insured the car after August till November to be fob off, yet and May times after that, buyers beware please

Had the pleasure of buying a car from the guys at PMG Specialist Cars and I honestly can’t believe how easy the whole process was. I never thought buying a car could be this straightforward, but everything was spot on — the car, the people, and the overall experience were first class. Honest garage, honest price, and most importantly, honest people. I genuinely can’t recommend them enough.

DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT BUYING A CAR HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO LOSE YOUR MONEY!!! This company was selling a Tesla model X. I called up and spoke to Pete. I stated that I wanted to import the car into Southern Ireland and asked about the VAT Q status of the car as they advertised the car as VAT Q. Pete stated that they do it all the time and that there was no issue to import. I questioned this several times and Pete stated that there was no issue what so ever. I paid a £500 deposit and drove up a couple of days later to test drive. I test drove the car and said I would move forward to purchase it. They then sent me an invoice. I called up and further questioned the process of importing the car into the south as I had experience of doing this before. I then discovered the car was on UK plate. I stated to Pete that I didn’t believe I could import the car into the south in U.K. plates otherwise I would have to pay import customs duties and import VAT adding 33% cost to the car. Pete again stated they do it all the time and it was fine. I further questioned this yet again as I didn’t believe that they knew what they were talking about. It all went quiet for a while and then Pete called me stating that he has tried all avenues and the only option was for them to register, leave it in his personal name for 4 months and then import. I personally felt that they were “working” the process to try and get this into the south and also I didn’t want to wait a further 4 months for a car. At this point they asked for 50% deposit. I said I wasn’t comfortable and asked for my deposit back. Pete at this point has gone very quiet and Brian Casey stepped in, assuming he is the owner of the company, he was being very difficult and said in short it was me at fault and they wouldn’t refund the deposit until the car was sold to someone else. The car is now sold, removed from auto trader and he is ignoring my emails. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!
