Northern Ireland uses code 22 for this contravention.

The code appears on a Penalty Charge Notice so that the particular parking or bus-lane contravention being alleged can be identified.

How much can the ticket cost?

The standard Northern Ireland PCN charge is £90.

A 50% discount reduces this to £45 when payment is made within the first 14 days.

If the case progresses to a Charge Certificate, the amount increases to £135.

Code 22 applies when a vehicle returns to the same parking place within the signed no-return period. Where individual spaces are marked, the restriction applies to the same specific space; in a longer shared bay it applies to the same bay.
