What does this database include?
The 2025 dataset contains 5,015 police-recorded injury collisions, 9,394 vehicle records and 7,879 casualty records.
Collisions are grouped by injury severity: fatal, serious or slight. A fatal collision can involve more than one fatality, so the number of fatal collisions is not necessarily the same as the number of people killed.

Damage-only incidents and collisions not reported to police are excluded. These are historical statistical records, not live collision alerts.

Historical figures refer to their stated road and date ranges. They are separate from PureCar’s 2013–2025 mapped PSNI collision statistics.
These are police-recorded injury collisions within 100 metres of the mapped corridor, not necessarily incidents on the named road. Some official DfI labels are abbreviated; the original geographical reference remains preserved.
