Local car park, route and access details

The council lists 145 spaces at Ballycastle Harbour and 65 at Marina. Outside the published seasonal period, the standard seasonal pay-and-display charge does not apply. This differs from Ballycastle Ann Street, which the council lists as chargeable Monday to Saturday from 8.30am to 6.30pm. There are also free council car parks at Castle Street, Sheskburn House and Fair Green/Fairhill Street.

What to check before travelling

Check which of the two waterfront car parks you have entered and read the signs, particularly around special events and summer weekends. The harbour is also used by Rathlin ferry passengers, so a free or cheaper parking period is not a guarantee that spaces will be available or suitable for overnight use.
