How is on-street paid parking in Lisburn different from parking in a council car park?
Lisburn is one of Northern Ireland’s three on-street controlled parking zones.
DfI is responsible for those street-bay arrangements, while the council controls its own off-street car parks. A driver parking beside the kerb and then moving into a public car park may need a different payment method or tariff. Check the posted maximum stay and parking code in the exact location: a valid JustPark session for an on-street bay does not automatically cover a nearby council site.
