Local car park, route and access details

Mid and East Antrim Borough Council lists Mount Street 1 with 84 spaces, Mount Street 2 with 51, and Broughshane Street 2 with 84. Broughshane Street 1 is much larger at 249 spaces but chargeable. The council’s pay-and-display tariff is listed as 80p for up to one hour and £2.70 for more than four hours, with its special all-day rate also £2.70. The Tower Centre multi-storey has a separate longer tariff scale.

What to check before travelling

For shopping in Ballymena, the distinction between Broughshane Street 1 and 2 matters: the similar names hide different charging rules. Also check whether you are entering the Tower Centre multi-storey, which does not use exactly the same tariff. Use the council site and individual entrance signs for current hours and prices.
