Local car park, route and access details

The council publishes 219 spaces at Lansdowne Road, 43 at Magheracross, 40 at Rinagree and 139 at Sandhill Drive. By contrast, Dunluce Avenue has 240 spaces at 50p an hour, charged 8.30am–6.30pm daily all year; East Strand has 537 spaces with the same charging timetable and rate. West Strand is charged seasonally, and Harbour Road has a separate £1-per-hour tariff.

What to check before travelling

The best location depends on which part of Portrush you are visiting: a free space is not automatically a convenient walk to the harbour or East Strand. Check the exact car park entrance on a map before travelling. Free refers to the council’s published parking tariff, not guaranteed availability or unrestricted parking anywhere on the surrounding streets.
