How do I drive from Carnlough to Cushendall on the Coast Road?

Continue on the A2 coastal corridor northwards from Carnlough through the Waterfoot area towards Cushendall.

It is a scenic section through the Glens of Antrim and not the same as travelling inland on the A26. Use Cushendall as the destination, not merely “Antrim coast”, if you need a definite arrival point. Expect a touring road with villages and bends rather than a motorway, and choose actual car parks if stopping for photographs.
