What road connects Armagh city to Newry through Markethill?

The A28 is the main signed route between Armagh and Newry through the Markethill corridor.

TrafficWatchNI lists a camera at A28 Markethill, giving drivers a specific place to check conditions. The A28 is different from the A1 dual carriageway route used for Belfast–Newry travel. If you are heading to the centre of Markethill, follow the town signs rather than assuming all through traffic enters the same car park.
