Which road should I take from Newry towards Warrenpoint?

The main road corridor between Newry and Warrenpoint runs southeast towards Carlingford Lough, using the A2 road network and local approach roads.

If you are catching a ferry farther south or visiting Warrenpoint harbour, enter the actual terminal or berth instead of the town name alone. Do not follow A1 signs towards the border when your destination is on the lough shoreline; that is a different direction out of Newry.
