Which offences are covered?

The NI penalty-point table lists 50 08 204 for causing death through careless driving while unfit, 50 08 208 where excess alcohol is involved and 50 08 212 where the driver then fails to provide a specimen.

The official table lists a range of three to eleven penalty points. These are serious offences and disqualification may also apply.

ENDORSEMENT

How long does the endorsement remain?

These endorsements remain on the driving record for 11 years from the date of conviction.
