These are the official DVA fees for the common car learner tests. Always check nidirect before payment in case fees change.

Current Northern Ireland guidance, summarised clearly.

Car and motorcycle theory test: £23.
Car practical test on a weekday: £65.
Car practical test in the evening or at a weekend: £95.

Booking direct

When you use the official DVA booking service you pay the test fee without an additional third-party booking charge.

If you need to change a test

Use the official manage-booking service and check the last change or cancellation date on your appointment details so you do not unnecessarily lose the fee.
