No official DVA route list is published for Belfast Balmoral, Hydebank or any other NI centre. Websites or videos showing “test routes” should not be treated as an official or guaranteed route.
That is deliberate. The practical test is meant to show that you can drive safely in realistic traffic conditions rather than reproduce a route you have memorised.

DVA says unpublished routes help keep the test representative of real driving. You should be able to deal safely with normal road and traffic conditions, even when the road is unfamiliar.
You may be asked to follow traffic signs, a short sequence of directions or a combination. Poor or obscured signs can be handled by the examiner giving further directions. You are not expected to know the area by memory.
Build skill across junctions, roundabouts, lane changes, changing speed limits, meeting traffic, parked vehicles, pedestrian areas and roads that move between urban and rural conditions where relevant.
